Turn your attic into a usable space

Once viewed as dark, creepy areas used to store rarely used items, attics have been rebranded as extended living spaces. Case Remodeling claims that attic conversions are growing in popularity across the United States.
Homeowners have begun taking a look at their attic and imagining a wide range of new uses for the room. Use home improvement financing to turn your attic into the room you've been dreaming about.
Here are two attic conversions to consider:
1. Media room. An attic media room is ideal if you want to have a space dedicated to watching movies and playing video games. Your friends and family will enjoy the ability to laze about on a comfy couch and take in a flick.
2. Home office. It can often be difficult to find a quiet space in a house to get some much needed work done. The kitchen is the hub of the house, the living room gets a lot of traffic and the bedroom makes it too tempting to fall asleep. Consider building a home office in your attic and insulating the walls and floor well so that you can get your work done without interruption.
