Fall landscaping ideas

While spring is the traditional season for home improvement projects outside, don't forget about the fall. You can complete a lot of outdoor tasks during the early months of fall to keep your curb appeal strong. Use home improvement financing to build a new patio, plant winter greens or hire a landscaping crew.
Here are three projects to consider:
1. Plant seasonal greens. Just because it's fall doesn't mean your garden and stoop has to be a barren landscape. Plant seasonally appropriate flowers such as mums in a barrel on your step or around a landscaping feature like a statue.
2. Build a patio. Fall features typically less rain than spring, which is why you may want to build a patio during this season to avoid a muddy mess. However, make sure to begin this project before the ground freezes or the cost of the installation could skyrocket.
3. Paint the house. If the paint job on your home is looking a bit faded and worn, consider hiring painters to put a new hue on your house. Revamp your property's curb appeal by giving it a facelift with a new coat of paint.
