The housing market is showing remarkable strength compared to a year ago, as property values increase and homebuilder. confidence improves. According to the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index, confidence in the new construction single-family home market rose six points to 35 in July - the largest one month gain in almost a decade.
"Combined with the upward movement we've seen in other key housing indicators over the past six months, this report adds to the growing acknowledgment that housing, though still in a fragile stage of recovery, is returning to its more traditional role of leading the economy out of recession," said David Crowe, NAHB's chief economist, according to The Hill.
As homebuilder confidence grows, more residential financing options for new construction may appear. Home Loan Investment Bank offers premier lending options such as a Standard Fixed Rate Loan, a Purchase Loan or a FHA Loan. Potential homebuyers in the market for a new property may want to consider checking out the financing opportunities offered for an affordable mortgage.
