Overall auto sales increased 33 percent in Southwest Idaho in February 2012 compared to the same month last year, reports the Idaho Statesman. Used car sales rose 34 percent, with Bronco Motors as the number one used-vehicle dealership that month with sales up 35 percent over the last year.
Consumers are intent on owning high-quality used vehicles that have good gas mileage, safety standards and low maintenance costs. With the proper auto financing option, good credit and a decent down payment, a consumer can find himself driving off the dealership’s car lot in a newer used car.
Pre-owned vehicle qualities are improving and letting second owners drive them for longer without issues. If a used vehicle is what a consumer is in the market for, buying from reputable dealerships or having the car checked by a trusted mechanic is always best. Consider asking for the car’s VIN in order to check for any undisclosed major repairs or accidents. Knowledge is power and can help a person avoid a regretted purchase.
