Labor Day holiday can be smart time for car buying

The Labor Day long weekend is fast approaching, and the deals are rolling in for potential buyers interested in affordable auto financing and a great new vehicle.
According to Cars.com, there are plenty of incentives and lease deals to be had this upcoming weekend. Those include 0 percent financing plus $500 bonus cash for the 2014 Ford Flex and the 0.9 percent financing for 36 months for the 2015 Honda Fit, just to name a few.
"As summer draws to a close, manufacturers will be heavily discounting inventory to make room for new 2015 model year vehicles," said Jesse Toprak, chief analyst for Cars.com. "As a result, consumers can take advantage of some outstanding new-car deals. Large SUVs and full-size trucks offer some of the steepest discounts, but shoppers will also be happy to find great offers on select luxury and hybrid models throughout Labor Day sales weekend."
If you are interested in buying this weekend, perhaps now is the right time to get ready. According to MSN Autos, you should first shop around without looking to buy. This can allow for a pressure-free experience - as well as fact finding. In addition, you should also get your paperwork together, including what vehicle you want, its features and its price.
