For those interested in affordable auto financing, there are a number of vehicle options available. However, more people may have been choosing Ford, as the Detroit automaker expects to be at the top when final sales numbers are released.
At the moment, Ford has sold over 2.4 million vehicles throughout 2013, according to the Detroit Free Press. Using recent November sales data, the company has also sold more than 396,000 vehicles than Toyota, the next closest competitor. Both Ford and Toyota expect to finish 2013 as top dog.
The media outlet reported that Ford has seen retail sales rise 15 percent this year, with total numbers, including fleet sales, up 12 percent. The biggest increase for the manufacturer was felt on the West Coast and in the Southeast, and expectations are on track for the best performance in six years.
Besides Ford, buyers have plenty of choices on how to spend using auto financing. For instance, USA Today noted several fantastic vehicles available in 2013. The Chevrolet Spark EV, an electric option, was an enjoyable surprise this past year. The Chevrolet Cruze diesel also had plenty of positives, as did the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk.
