Individuals interested in auto financing for their next vehicle could end up with a Chrysler. A number of these automobiles were picked as "Best Buys" by Consumers Digest, and strong sales support those claims.
According to Consumers Digest list of 2014 Best Buys, seven vehicles created by the Chrysler Group made the grade. Mentioned were the Chrysler 300 and Town & Country, as well as the Dodge Durango, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ram 1500 and Fiat 500.
The rewards are based on several factors, including overall value, comfort, performance and utility, Consumers Digest noted. The recent accolades added to an already strong resume for the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the most awarded SUV in history.
Sales figures back up the report, and many buyers may have used auto financing on their new vehicles.
Chrysler Group reported October as its 43rd month in a row with year-over-year sales gains. U.S. sales increased to 140,083 units for the month, 11 percent higher than the same time in 2012.
Reid Bigland, head of U.S. sales for Chrysler Group, explained that October's strong numbers were in part thanks to the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which recently went on sale.
