As 2013 winds down and the new year fast approaches, vehicle shoppers with automotive financing have a number of great, full-size sedan options available to them.
A recent challenge performed by USA Today, Cars.com and MotorWeek sorted through the best options for both price and size, and found several models that stood out above the rest.
The price ceiling was $38,000, which included shipping and all other transactions, according to USA Today. The winner was the 2014 Chevrolet Impala, which at the analyzed configuration cost $35,770.
"The Impala got a great redesign that has really taken it from the worst vehicle in the segment to among the best, if not the best," Brian Robinson, producer of MotorWeek and one of the judges of the challenge, told the news source.
Other notable automobiles that performed quite well included the Chrysler 300S, the Hyundai Azera and the Dodge Charger SXT Plus. All vehicles had a reported gas mileage near a combined 23 mpg, accounting for both city and highway driving. Anyone using auto financing could make a sound choice with one of these options.
In addition, USA Today's winning 2014 Chevrolet Impala also received positive reviews from GStyle Magazine. This vehicle is an ideal family sedan, although it still has enough style for more appearance-conscious buyers. Without added features, the Impala starts as low as $26,860.
