Curious about what models consumers are buying with affordable auto financing?
New vehicle sales are exploding in 2015, and this is partially fueled by people's desires for specific models. The rising demand for these cars has the auto industry feeling heady, and for good reason. Some vehicles, like the Volkswagen Golf, are experiencing year-over-year sales increases so impressive that they look like typos. For example, thus far in 2015, sales for the aforementioned model are 175 percent higher than they were for the same period in 2014, according to Auto Week.
The Mini Cooper S is another model that has experienced strong sales increases. For this vehicle, sales jumped 76.5 percent from 2014 to 2015.
The U.S. auto industry was the driving force behind May's robust retail numbers. Car sales rose 2 percent to fuel $444.9 billion of retail and food services spending in May, according to an Industry Week report on U.S. Commerce Department data. Consumers are ready to start emptying their pockets again as the economy continues to improve, and for many that means seeking auto financing for vehicles such as the Volkswagen Golf and Mini Cooper S.
