There is a lot to be excited for heading into 2015. The economy appears to moving in the right direction, consumer confidence is up and plenty of people are shopping for new cars.
In fact, an AutoTrader.com analysis noted that the new year could be positive for automotive sales, with a variety of interesting options hitting lots over the next 12 months. AutoTrader.com's list of anticipated new vehicles for 2015 includes the Mazda MX-5 Miata, the Nissan Titan and the Jaguar XE, among others.
"Our list includes a cross section of vehicles we think are likely to be some of the most sought after cars and trucks this year," explained Brian Moody, site editor for AutoTrader.com. "The truck segment is getting even more competitive, as several new models will be added to a lineup that already has a lot of fresh product."
In addition, Edmunds.com released its rankings of the best vehicles in 2014, and a number of American brands held strong near the top of the list. The most popular maker over the past year was Ford, followed closely by Chevrolet and Toyota. Edmunds.com uses polls of car shoppers to determine its awards.
Given the rise in consumer confidence, along with affordable auto financing, it seems that 2015 will be another exciting year for vehicle sales.
