Whether we want it to come or not, winter will soon arrive - and with it, more snow, cold weather and rough road conditions. This will all take a toll on your vehicle, and all that time you spent researching affordable auto financing and great deals shouldn't go to waste.
So, make sure your vehicle is ready for the winter. According to AAA, the perfect opportunity could be daylight savings time.
"The end of daylight savings time means that winter weather is on the way, which can be rough on your car," Greg Brannon, AAA's director of Automotive Engineering, said in a statement. "This is a good time to have vehicle systems checked and perform important maintenance to ensure your car is in peak condition."
For starters, look over the critical components of your vehicle - that includes the battery, windshield wipers and the engine as a whole. Keep an eye out for corrosion or leaks of any sort. Don't forget to give your heaters and defrosters a test before the weather really turns ugly.
With a proper checkup before the worst of winter, your vehicle will be ready for whatever comes your way.
